Taking place at the multi-disciplinary venue Østre, the festival showcases 26 independent, experimental and art-house film works of high quality, carefully selected to entertain while stimulating reflections for the mind.
In addition to mainly being a film festival, we want all aspects of art to overspill into the different borders and to question limitations. As such, 6 exciting artists will help transform the entire space with their art, softly curated to follow our ideology of being balanced somewhere between comfort and progression.

BUFF 2024 is a non-profit organisation supported by Bergen Municipality and co-produced by Østre.

The event is open to all ages. Parts of the content may include small amounts of nudity, violence, flashing lights, or horror.

Reliquae

Reliquae opens a door to the past, to what remains and what may grow through the cracks. The samples I recorded come from two  fairly old and neglected instruments (a grand piano and a harpeleik zither) whose sound qualities have been altered by age, use and some digital processing.
